    • Read it in one sitting! Now, it may be odd to some that all of a sudden all I'm reading is historical/regency romance. My mind has not been in the best state lately. I'm stressed to the point of feeling frantic and trapped, and I don't want to lose myself in my usual emotional books, or indeed any book that makes me think particularly hard. So romance it is, and I console myself that the dress and society descriptions somehow make it all better.I need escapism, and these books make me feel bette [...]

    • This book had potential. Certainly the beginning caught this readers attention. However it was not long before the characters and the plot began to bore.

    • DNFI just couldn't connect with the leading characters, sorry. Perhaps if I read this in six months, I'd probably change my mind.

    • I got a little bored in parts of this book. There were a few places when nothing was happening. I didn't particularly like some of the characters either - there were no really jolly people. This story is not the best in the series. A pity because I really liked the others.

    • 75% of the way through, I realized I didn't care if they ended up together or not. I admit I skimmed the remainder of the book, and even the epilogue managed to be tedious.

    • Just okJust another romance - nothing special - very like the other books in this series. You read one - you have read them all.

    • Good Booka little frustrating to have to wait so long to finally get Frederick and Eleanor together forever!!!!!
