    • Wow, I enjoyed this story much more than I expected because I’m really not a fan of the steampunk genre and read this book as part of a reading challenge. I found the whole concept of the firebugs and fire dousing foam quite interesting from a technology perspective. Add to that the fact that both of the main characters were a little bit older and former war veterans trying to solve the mystery behind the arsons plaguing New Eddington and I found enough intrigue to keep my attention throughout [...]


    • In my summer vacations I tried insist tried more but in the end gave up very close to the end it was just a few pages but I notice how I struggle to get there and decided to gave up. So yeah, 2 stars and unfortunately it's not for me.
