    • It isn't unusual to find myself absorbed in a series. However, this series is one of those which has me completely and utterly immersed in it; has me thinking about the characters and the storylines even when I'm not reading it; has me dropping everything when the next in the series comes out.In short - this series is exceptional. That's not to say that reading these books isn't exquisite torture. I really want nothing more than to read their HEA. However, the strength of the author's writing is [...]

    • This series just keeps getting better and better. I really loved reading this book. I love the romance and the tension between Allie and Revik. The tension between them makes the romance between them even better. And then there is Balidor In the previous book , i thought he and Cass would be getting something but i was so wrong. I never would have thought that he and Allie would be getting something. I was angry for Revik's concern. I was giddy because a triangle makes for extra suspension. I d [...]

    • Allie is all alone after the loss of her husband and then finds herself thrust into the role of the official face and voice of the seers. She then desperately tries to stop the two worlds that she straddles from an all consuming war. Then she discovers that Revik is not dead as she thought but instead is on the other side of the seer race and is already fighting the war against humans. There is no way she can compromise with him on this, but she has to do whatever it takes to save him from himse [...]

    • Another blissful saga in the lives of Allie and Revik!Allie consents to Revik's offer to live with as his mate for 6 months while he suspends ops against humanity. She hopes she'll be able to get to know the "new" Revik, but there are things about him now that are hard to swallow. Still, no matter how much everyone keeps telling Allie that Revik has become a totally different person than he was before, her love for him is still painfully intense. When Allie uses telekinesis to save Revik's team f [...]

    • I received Sword, book 3 of the Bridge and Sword series, as a free copy from the author, and enjoyed the read so much, I purchased a copy when it became available for sale. There was a lot of tension, heartache, and emotional chaos in this book as Revik and Allie try to keep their marriage together in the face of war. It doesn't help they are on opposite factions with differing view of how to liberate the seers and handle the humans who have oppressed their race-- or races, if we want to count T [...]

    • Agendas Excellent story and very well written. Allie and Revik have mated but there is a lot going on. The question is who has influenced or brainwashed each of them? They both are fighting for the same thing for seers but the methods differ. Have the Dreng got Revik completely under control through financial backing or has the remainder of the seven got too much control over Allie. This story is about love recaptured, discretions and even betrayal. Will their love and marriage survive or not? T [...]

She discovers that Revik is not dead but is on the other side of the seer race and is already fighting the war against humans. She has to do whatever it takes to save him from himself and to save them all. There are lots of twists, turns, and agendas that are not released till they are happening. As usual JC has written another amazing book and the changes that she has made only ma [...]

    • Trust is definitely big in this one and after several months of working on it, the results are looking good. And then in one brief moment of madness all of it is blown away and we're left wondering what happened. New players are introduced and here is where Allie's role is tested, but so is her very soul tested, she has to decide what she is willing to do to get what she deems most important. We see Allie grow a lot in this one and we see a side to Revik that is new to us.I received this as an A [...]

    • Gifted a copy. Writing a voluntary review:Sword takes off where Shield ended so it is necessary to read these books in order. Otherwise you will be completely lost. The books are detailed, complex and have more twists than a back country road. Don't just skim this book because you will miss out on so much of the story that you will not like it. To me this story is a dark read so be prepared for things that are more adult content so is recommended for readers over 18.

    • Even better than the real thing!!!For those fans of U2 out there you'll understand the quote. I've read these books in their previous lives and was blown away. This rewrite for want of a better word is nothing short of amazing. Much better flow in the story without damage to the intense relationship with Revik and Allie. This is a love story spanning past lives and decades while the world around them is on fire. I'm officially addicted.

    • What a difficult time Allie has trying to reconcile her love for Revik, now a totally different person. I really had a moment where I didn't know which one really is the good side. As Allie and Revik (Sword) come to an agreement to try to be together, Allie will also have her doubts. Great saga, lots of action, suspense and sexy times.

    • Allie is less likable in this book than the previous ones and spends most of it pulling Revil back and forth like a yoyo. And I hated the ending, though I suppose it's a great setup for the next book.I did notice that the phrase "jaw hardened" or a very minor variation was used a LOT. In fact when I checked, it came up a whopping 90 times. That's just lazy writing.

    • Book three brought the gut wrenching to a whole new level. Allie and Revik's marriage is continuously under emotional turmoil! This section of their life's journey will totally make you teeter on the edge of your seat! This brilliant author had me alternating between reaching for tissues or reaching for something to throw! A truly dark and mysterious series that I highly recommend!

    • Freaking Amazing!Love this series! As Allie comes into her true form as the Bridge, she realizes how important her role is. Her love for her husband is all consuming, but is it enough for her to betray the Seven? You have to read this series!

    • An absolutely fantastic read and an amazing third installment of the series. Would read this again and again

    • Sword: Allie's War, Book Three , J C Andreski.Review from Jeannie Zelos Book reviews. Well, I'm finally getting to grips with this world. I've read the prequel novella and books one and two, and rather than trying to understand the concepts of sharing light, constructs, other dimensions etc I'm just accepting them as Fact. Its made it easier for me, I’ve stopped trying to work out the hows and the whys, and gone with the flow of the story. Its an incredibly complex world and I’m not convince [...]

    • Sword by J.C. Andrijeski.4 out of 5 stars. After having to watch her husband shoot a younger version of himself, she thinks that he is now dead. But it turns out that all of the memories that were taken from him, the many mind wipes he underwent, have all been stored in the younger version and now that the older Revik has just destroyed the younger one, they've all been returned to him. He's a completely different person now. Allie simply doesn't recognise him any more.Allie has now been elevated [...]

    • So I'm caught up with the 7 main books in the series now and going back to put my thoughts down. I'm going to try not to give too many spoilers, but anything in the previous books well that's fair game so you've been warned.Book 3 was slam packed with things tearing you in every emotional direction possible. Revik is working with Salinse and that means on the opposite side of Allie. He has turned into someone she no longer recognizes and is actively fighting for the war she is trying to keep fro [...]

    • Another thrilling ride with an ending you will never see coming. I'm on Book III and can't help but feel as if I've hardly delved into this story; as if, however good, the best may be yet to come in this series! In this installment we see our protagonist, Alyson, confronted with the violence and brutality of the human-seer war. Thrust into this confusing and never clear-cut reality, she is forced to make a decision between her beliefs and her loyalty to the man - now the man AND the boy - who ho [...]

    • Extremely well-built world, characters, and plot. The series covers more than a bit of disturbing topics, at least touching lightly on torture, rape, and others, though not in great detail. the author does so fairly well, and keeps interest up, though I had to step away and read some lighter stories during the process of reading the whole series. Allie got a wee bit whiny at times, but not enough to get annoying. Also well-written and edited, which is wonderful as that is a growing pet peeve of m [...]

    • Wow didn't see that comingTrust is definitely big in this one and after several months of working on it, the results are looking good. And then in one brief moment of madness all of it is blown away and we're left wondering what happened.

    • This is just as good as the previous two! Many twists and turns I didn't see coming. I've been awake for over 24hrs because I couldn't put this down. I finished it at 5:35am and I had to be up by 6am. I'm dead tired, but it was worth it! I can not wait for the fourth in the series!!!
