    • A decent start. As it is the first in the series I did feel it a little too short though. I know that the series is to be a sort set but I don't feel enough time was spent on introducing the characteristics/descriptions of people. There is a brief description of Kenny, Wyatt was portrayed well and also the relationship between Luther and Joe is there so it is a good start, I just think a little bit more would have made it.In terms of action, it's non stop, I read through it twice as it was very [...]

    • A shallow and disappointing spin off from the Walking Dead seriesis is the first in a series of 'episodes' that take place dying the same timeframe as the TV show's beginning, but following a different group of characters. The concept has potential, but too many irritating characters & one-liners and not enough depth! Won't be buying the next episode, despite my obsession with all things undead!

    • Quick moving fan fiction based on the TV series "The Walking Dead." This chapter is the very beginning, when the ZA first starts, and takes place primarily in the hospital where Rick Grimes lay comatose from his gunshot wounds.A fast read, not many typos or grammatical errors. My only complaint was that the characters were not fleshed out in the least. Recommended for fans of the genre and/or the series for light reading.

    • This author is not associated with Robert Kirkman or the walking dead tv show! This wasn't really worth the .99, but it is kind of neat to get an idea of what may have happened in the hospital before Rick wakes up. I didn't like the over usage of the f word and I did not like that he used a name of a character that is already in the series. I would love to see Robert Kirkman write a prequel series about what happens before Rick wakes up!

    • A nice look insideI liked that it was obvious what world we were dealing with. The characters introduced are not fully fleshed out but do make you want to find out how things turn out for them . And there are zombies, who can say no to zombies! Not a great tome but definitely interesting to a zombie enthusiast.

    • not a parody per se, as I think of parodies as more comical. This was a interesting story about what was happening in the hospital while Rick Grimes was in a coma. I will read the remaining parts in this series.
